Time Lapse Of New York City Anti-Police Brutality March

The media may have moved on, but the masses are still very upset over the lack of an indictment of the police officer who put Eric Garner in a choke hold during an attempted arrest that lead to his passing. Thousands of New Yorkers took to the streets over the weekend for a ‘millions march’ with the help of the trending hashtag #MillionsMarchNYC

Vinay Pulim had his camera recording from a building above 6th Ave and 29th St., and put together this inspiring time lapse of the impressive march over an hour and a half. That’s a lot of people!

Little Girl Adorably Dances To Grateful Dead Busker In Subway Station

Most New Yorkers don’t even hear the buskers who play in the subway stations. After a while all the noise, screaming, and music just blurs into a jaded nothingness. But it’s different with kids. If the music is good and upbeat they’ll have no problem putting on a smile and dancing like there’s no tomorrow.

Coyote And Crow was busking at the Bedford subway station in Williamsburg, Brooklyn when a little girl started dancing like crazy to their Grateful Dead cover. So cute!

Subway Tips By Glove And Boots

The New York City subway system is a great way to get around town quickly and affordably. For just a few bucks you can travel to almost every corner of the city. But there’s a downside to the MTA subway. The noise, the congestion during rush hour, the smell! Thankfully, native New Yorker Johnny T of Glove and Boots has stepped forward to explain to the ignorant tips for riding the subway. Ya, they need to teach this in every public school in the city.

Inside New York City’s Tallest Apartment

Everyone knows that New York City real estate is some of the most expensive in the world. Now, a brand new apartment building on Manhattan’s legendary Park Ave is being built that will be the tallest, and one of the most expensive, residential buildings in the world. It will also be the 3rd tallest building overall in the US.

432 Park Ave is just under 1,400 feet tall, nearly 150 feet taller than the Empire State Building. The 84th floor penthouse sold for just under $100 million, reports Mashable.

NYPD Arrest Musician For Singing In Subway

Seeing a musician performing in subway stations is a common sight in New York City. But apparently, one New York City cop had never seen a musician in the subway before, because he asked guitarist Andrew Kalleen to leave the station or he would arrest him. Andrew even had the officer read the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s rules of conduct aloud which clearly states artists are permitted to play in the stations, but the cop arrested Andrew anyways.

Now, this clip has gone viral with over 350,000 hits!
