Marty McFly played Johnny B Good way back in 1985 (or was it 1955), and Michael J Fox can still play like a rock star. Nike has been getting a lot of attention for their recent release of the Nike Air Mag, the very same shoe featured in Back To The Future 2 all the way back in 1989. But this isn’t all about making money. Nike has teamed up with Marty McFly himself, who was, of course, played by Michael J Fox to raise money to help fund research for a cure for Parkinson’s disease. Fox has been fighting Parkinson’s for years, and has his own foundation to help everyone with the debilitating disease.
For the first five weeks of filming Marty McFly was really Eric Stolz, not Michael J Fox. But the writers didn’t see the sparkle they expected and re-shot with Michael J Fox, who ended up play in all three movies.
